Texture Magazine Issue #1
Issue #1 of Texture Magazine presents a spectrum of writing adjacent to, and inspired by, audio of all kinds. Our approach is multidisciplinary and exploratory, looking to connect narratives and moments that might otherwise fall through the cracks.
To this end the magazine is full to the brim with quality writing, examining topics from lost horizons to the heterotopian ideals of rave, the semantics of sexism to the marginalising effects of globalisation. Plus: Canada, 100 gecs, and much much more.
We're incredibly thankful to everyone who has written, contributed, and advised us thus far. The future, surprisingly, feels bright right now.
